Instituto Hesed Overview
Instituto Hesed, a lifestyle application available on the iPhone platform, traces its roots back to its foundation on November 30, 1997. Inspired by their first retreat in January 1998, Sisters Kelly Patrícia and Jane Madeleine coined the name "HESED." Under the leadership of Archbishop Cláudio Hummes, the sisters were blessed and granted the authorization to welcome vocations.
On March 25, 1999, at 6:00 PM, symbolizing the Incarnation of the Word, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament arrived, marking a significant moment for Instituto Hesed. Despite the Archdiocese being without a bishop at the time, the parish priest entrusted them with the care of Jesus until the new bishop's official permission was granted. Subsequently, Bishop José Antônio blessed them, providing written authorization for the conservation of the Sacred Reserves.
